Today we have a gorgeous Lake Lanier wedding for you, my friends! We began the day at the absolutely beautiful St. Brigid Catholic Church in Johns Creek, where we met up with Hanna and her lively bridesmaids. We adore Hanna’s sunny disposition, and I believe anyone who knows her would agree she is both kind and endearing. Each time I am around her, I always feel like she is a friend who I have known for years. It was a joy to serve her and Ryan, and we are forever grateful for clients who impact us with their positive spirit and outlook on life. Truly, such a gift.

Hanna and Ryan first met when they were in the 7th grade. Some time later when they began dating, they spent countless summers on the waters of Lake Lanier with Hanna’s family. It’s no surprise they would choose Lanier Islands as the location for their wedding reception and the place where friends and family would come to celebrate! For every dollar Hanna’s father spent on boat gas through the years, I think it would be safe to say we witnessed a thousand smiles in just one day.

This story wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the college rivalry that was evident from the moment we first met them! While Ryan is losing his head and screaming ‘war damn eagle!’, you will most definitely find Hanna roll tidin’ like a boss in her crimson and white. In fact, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to watch this particular rivalry game without thinking fondly of these two… and of course secretly hoping that Auburn wins. SO sorry, Hanna! At least I waited until after the wedding to admit my traitor-ness. I hope you love me anyway. 🙂

Hanna and Ryan, you two are SO PERFECT!! We felt extremely welcomed by your families, it seemed as though you were our friends from way back, and we left you that night with huge smiles on our faces and genuine appreciate in our hearts. Thank you for allowing us to hang out with you and capture one of the best days of your lives!
