Today on the blog is a recent wedding at one of our very favorite venues, Little River Farms, and we love everything this gorgeous corner of Milton, GA has to offer! It naturally lends itself to a perfect backdrop for photos with all the white spaces, beautiful grounds with a lake and tall oaks spread throughout the property, and a gorgeous indoor reception space with a stone fireplace and romantic chandeliers. It was the perfect location for a stunning bride like Kelly, and I commented early that day she looked like an absolute princess in her ballgown and elegantly styled bun. So breathtaking!

Kelly had long ago dreamed of an outdoor ceremony surrounded by the trees and beauty that Little River Farms has to offer. On the day of her wedding, however, mother nature simply had different plans. After waiting for a period of time for the rain to pass, the ceremony was moved indoors and we all worked as quickly as possible to light candles, arrange florals in front of the fireplace, and situate guests. Even though it didn’t turn out as originally planned, it was certainly no less beautiful and the promises exchanged on that Spring afternoon were some of the sweetest (and cutest!) we’ve ever heard. I mean, when is the last time you heard “big spoon, little spoon” referenced in someone’s wedding vows? Ahh, it was my favorite!
