If I had to choose only one word to describe Becky and Justin’s wedding day, it would most definitely be JOYFUL!! Becky is one of the happiest brides we’ve ever worked with, and her excitement about marrying Justin leaves us smiling so hard our cheeks hurt! What started out as an overcast day turned into the most beautiful sunny afternoon that allowed us to venture outside for portraits. For some reason, the Georgia weather always seems to threaten us with less than perfect weather and then makes a right turn at the very last minute… but of course, we’re not complaining!

The wedding took place at the gorgeous Foundry at Puritan Mill, with floor to ceiling windows which of course had our little photographer hearts beating with sheer happiness! The venue is absolutely breathtaking and lends itself to a classically urban, yet sophisticated vibe. The lovely couple had many friends and family come to celebrate with them, and I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a single empty seat in the house! Also, Becky and Justin brought a unique spin to the day in that both a Rabbi (Mr. Personality) and a Catholic Priest conducted the ceremony. We enjoyed every minute!

No detail was left untouched; everything from the romantic hanging floral centerpiece down to the fragrant rosemary sprigs in each napkin to the heirloom cake topper… it was all so beautiful and will forever leave a lasting impression with us. Perhaps the most notable, however, is the unbreakable bond that is family and how it was evident through each interaction we witnessed. When the evening came to a close and it was time to leave, I found myself wanting to thank everyone… not merely because I was the photographer, but because these people who I hardly knew made my heart happy. I continue to realize that as much as I love my craft, the people I encounter and the relationships formed are so much more profound.

On a completely different note and well worth mentioning, one thing I absolutely love about Becky and Justin is they like food (almost) as much as I do. It’s the little things, people. 😉
